Our Journey
Ricardo Casas's journey from sweeping a truck shop floor to owning and running RC Truck Equipment Manufacturing, Repair & Services is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and a thirst for knowledge. Despite starting with minimal resources and responsibilities to support his family, he utilized his adept learning ability and the guidance of friendly truck mechanics to acquire skills in welding, mechanics, and hydraulics. His passion for learning and dedication to personal growth led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology while working full-time and raising four children. This relentless pursuit of improvement and education eventually paid off as he climbed the ranks from a janitor to a truck mechanic and eventually to a managerial position. However, Ricardo's ambition didn't stop there. He continued to seek opportunities to enhance his knowledge and expertise, which ultimately led him to join Lopez Truck Equipment Manufacturing. Through his hard work, dedication, and the recognition of his talents by Larry Lopez, Ricardo eventually took over the business and established RC Truck Equipment Manufacturing, Repair & Services. Today, RC Truck Equipment is renowned for its quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, attributes that reflect Ricardo's commitment to excellence. Despite his success, Ricardo remains deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, working alongside his employees and engaging directly with customers. His willingness to adapt and his unwavering commitment to quality are the cornerstones of RC Truck Equipment's success, embodying the same spirit of determination and resilience that propelled him from sweeping floors in 1996 to owning a thriving business today.
